> 4.-6. November 2014, Stuttgart (Germany) – Vision 2014
Xylon smart vision demo systems were presented at our partners' booths during the Vision 2014 in Stuttgart, Germany.
Xylon technology partner
eVs showcased the
logiADAK Automotive Driver Assistance Kit. This Xilinx® Zynq®-7000 All Programmable SoC based development kit supports real-time processing of up to six (6) uncompressed video inputs from one-megapixel cameras. The ability to support more than conventional four cameras is critical for larger sized commercial or special-purpose vehicles (bus, heavy truck...) and for integration of additional ADAS functions, such as the fifth forward looking camera for collision avoidance (pedestrian detection and vehicle detection), or the cabin camera for driver drowsiness detection. eVS is Xylon's technology partner for pedestrian detection, vehicle detection and lane departure warning applications included with the logiADAK kit.
Visitors of the
Xilinx's booth had a chance to see the Sensor Fusion demo designed by Xylon. The Sensor Fusion is the combining of sensory data from two or more
disparate sensors with the end goal of providing a resultant output that
is in some sense better than using the sensors independently. The presented demo demonstrates combination of the thermal (IR) imager with the
optical imager that is controlled by a single Zynq-7000 AP SoC device.
The solution targets Surveillance, Security and Defense applications
