Mr. Ryos Suzuki from Xylon Japan gave at this year's SSII Symposium on Sensing via Image Information presentation named "Fish-eye lens correction and application of IP core products". The presentation has explained challenges of real-time video image correction and has provided an insight into Xylon’s logicBRICKS IP core products for automotive "fish-eye" camera applications. Several logicBRICKS IP cores, such as
logiLENS Camera Lens Distortion Corrector,
logiBAYER Color Camera Sensor Bayer Decoder,
logiCVC-ML Compact Multilayer Video Controller and
logiMEM SDR/DDR SDRAM Memory Controller, can be used for development of single-chip Xilinx FPGA customized graphics controllers for LCD displays, capable to fully control automotive rear-view and similar applications in a real-time.
