At the Embedded Technology, the largest Japan
trade show and conference for embedded system designers and managers, Xylon introduced the new logiHAC development platform for advanced automotive instrument clusters. The logiHAC is a hybrid cluster demo that combines hi-res graphics display and electromechanical gauges, both controlled by several logicBRICKS IP cores. The platform is based on Xylon's logiCRAFT3 Compact Multimedia Display Development Platform and represents a multiprocessor system that combines the low-cost Microchip PIC 18F2680 MCU and the Xilinx FPGA working as the MCU graphics coprocessor.
